This is a rural section of canal, bordered by farmland. Outrington and Agden (where there is a marina and boats moored) are noted for their winter pike fishing.

There is a small public car park and good canal access at Stage Lane, in between Outrington and Agden.

At Dunham, the canal narrows to pass over the River Bollin aqueduct (next to the sewage works).

Please note - Part of this stretch has been affected by bank collapse and de-watering. Dams are in place, and boats are currently unable to navigate.
